Finals are Coming!

Finals are coming. I have two more weeks of school and we are getting ready for Finals! Then I get one week off , YAY.

The kids are off to school next week and they are looking forward to it.

Toot Toot TOOT my own horn!

Some new cards that I made last night out of 1 sheet of 12 x 12. I even managed to get a Gift Card holder in there. Oh yea and then I used the Missy B Pumpkin stamp with one of my clear

Scrolling Stamps and created my own Patterned Paper and then I colored the details in with

my Prisma and other brand of color pencils and

the results were AMAZING!!!!

I have seen others do there own patterned papers and I got into the groove yesterday and out came this paper! I am really tooting my own horn here.

As soon as I get back home later on I will be posting the

card and gift card holder,I even got a

small ATC Card!

My new Missy B Designs card and another Notebook!

So I gave in to buying some Missy B Designs and I finally got them in last week. Well I must say that I love these as well. The card I made was cased from Stamping Roxy's blog page. She was doing a tutorial on her technique on tying bows. She made a really beautiful "Z" card fold and thats what I used. My bow left little to be desired so I omitted it from this card. I will use my technique of bow tying and add it the other cards I will be making.

This card had the Halloween Ladies from Missy B,

along with the spiders and bats. I think it was truly a

very unique card. Thanks Roxy for the card style.

The notebook was just another thing I had in mind to do for a long time now and just got around to doing it this weekend.

It was a bit time consuming as it was bigger than the first one but none the less I managed to finish it.

Not too much embellishment but I still have to add some other little things to it.. When they are completed I will post that pic as well..

My first ever Notebook!

This was the first ever little notebook I did! It took a bit of time to do the little holes for the wire but none the less I did it ! With a pen to match!

Then this was the card with the envie that I was asked to do for a Birthday!

The pictures may come out big I apologize the kids were taking pics and messed

with the sizing. Hope you all like the cards and the notebook!

Getting back into the Swing of things!!!

Here are a few cards that I created of my own design sort a speak. One of the Deans from the college I go to liked the sample card I did and ordered a set of 5 cards. So off to create I went! This was the result.

She loved them! I also got a few more ladies that ordered when they saw them! Yay for me!

FYI

I know some of you may not enjoy the music that is playing on my page, but think

of it as if you were going to Puerto Rico, Cancun or even

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This is what you hear when

your out there having fun in the sun, the waves are crashing and your just relaxing having yourself a ice cold beer or a Sour Apple Martini! I love my

caribbean music because not only is it part of my heritage but its my culture, its in my blood and because nmy DH and DS are both musicians. DH has been

playing this music for over 15 years and my DS who is 13 has suddenly peaked his interest in this as well, as for me well I love the Singing aspect of it because

I was born and raised in a Puerto Rican Family who would play music at any family function and for Christmas what American call Caroling we Boricuas call is Aginaldos, Spanish Caroling. We would take all of our families along with the instruments to neighbors

and other families homes at whatever time of night (USUALLY STARTING at 10Pm) lol... and stand in front of the house, playing the music and singing until the Light would

come on and the doors would open, then thats when the party BEGAN. I enjoy singing in my husbands band and have been singing since the Womb, lol...

So with that said, I hope you surf my page and enjoy the music that is playing,

I will change it up a bit as time progresses but for now this is my mood and I

hope you all like what you hear. Who knows you may even be inspired to go out

there and take some SALSA CLASSES, now thats FUN!

Hello all! I just wanted to show you guys the newest edition to my family.

She is an adorable chunky, all black with one white stripe on her chest

3 month old Chihuahua, who goes by the name OREO!!!!!!

She is adorably funny and keeps me on my toes, I ask myself, What in the hell

were you thinking? Another dog. I could not say no. I am

a sucker for dogs especially displaced doggies.

SO I think if I were to reincarnate, I would come

back as a Veterinarian or something, because these dogs, just want to

loved.

I hope I get to keep her, as the landlords have yet to find out that I have her. lol...SHHH!!
